Common Questions

I have been scheduled for curbing. How can I prepare?

Prior to installation day:

  • Sprinklers need to be marked. We aren't responsible for broken unmarked sprinklers.

  • Sprinklers must be off for 24 hours.

  • If you have made any changes to the layout after an estimate has been performed, be sure to let us know before arrival.

  • If you don't want us to cut fresh trenching, pull back your landscaping 10 - 12" to leave bare ground.

  • Pickup any animal "presents." Nobody wants to work in that or see it in their curbing.

Do you warranty your work?

Idaho Curb Works offers a one year limited warranty. Should a crack more than 1/4 inch wide appear, this is an operator error and will be warrantied. Spider cracks are not warrantied. Cracks caused by vehicles, mowers, heavy equipment, natural issues (such as tree roots, ground heaving, water, ect.) will not.

Do you remove old edging or move landscaping?

We do not. We cut fresh trenching to best suit your new curbing. We are a curbing company, not a landscaping company. Some companies may do that, we don't. Idaho Curb Works would be happy to connect you with a quality landscaping company if you would like assistance in this department.

How often does my curb need to be resealed after coloring?

Curbing should be resealed every year to avoid colors lightening and to keep the curbing glossy. We do offer a reseal service when this time comes.
